Nemesis by Agatha Christie

3.0

Okay Nemesis was a bit better than the previous book in the Miss Marple series. I think the one thing I love about these is how easy they are to dive into and devour. I also like how certain characters can be tied throughout the series as well. So for instance, this book had the murder victim of someone who was alive in [b:A Caribbean Mystery|31300|A Caribbean Mystery (Miss Marple, #10)|Agatha Christie|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1309280346l/31300._SY75_.jpg|937152]. I'm pretty sure I remember that one ending with a little Latin saying basically stating that someone was going to die, again.

So I wasn't surprised that this one was kind of interesting because Miss Marple will win money if she ends up solving his mysterious death. Of course this whole murder puzzle sounds enticing to her but it lacks any clues as to what happened and where. So off she goes to solve the next murder for us all.

It's highly entertaining to see people underestimate Miss Marple. They are quick to judge her outward appearance but she soon shows them that they were completely wrong about her. The sass and knowledge that comes from her just amazes me sometimes. I'm also slightly jealous with her shopping spree at the end.. which I guess I can also do but online.

In the end, I'm definitely intrigued to dive into the next book of this series.
