Blacktop Wasteland by S.A. Cosby
4.0
BW starts off a bit slow for my liking, which was concerning considering the review from Stephen King on the cover reading, "[A] fast-paced, bare-knuckle thriller."
BUT, the last 100+ pages are exactly that! The pace becomes that of a Plymouth Duster racing down the scorched Blacktop of seldom used country roads as this story turns from a heist story to one of vengeance.
It's definitely worth the read, but unfortunately, the payoff only comes after a long drawn setup.
