This comic issue was a gift, so I had no idea what it was about, except it involved fanfiction somehow (?).

Story contains 5 mini stories which serve as the "fanfics".

Rule n.1 of reading fanfiction (yes, I'm keeping to this spelling, thank you very much): don't read anything you can't stomach. Directly followed by: don't read fanfics about you, if you can't stomach it!

Now, I don't partake in real people fanfiction, for me it's really weird. But Kamala Khan does! She writes fanfiction about superheroes, who are real people in her world! So, she has no moral ground to be demanding that other fanfiction writers take their down their stories about her alter ego, Ms. Marvel.

If she did a public statement as Ms. Marvel asking people not to write fanfiction pairing her with her fellow heroes, that's one thing. A hypocritical move for sure. But as her online fanfic writer persona? Heck no! Rejected! Don't like, don't read.

The one highlight was the story made in the likeness of classic Disney comics, which I read aplenty as a child! Jay Fosgitt's cute artstyle was perfect!

The other stories were awful. I'd never subject myself to such when browsing for ffs. There was the misogynist propaganda, the random no plot crack, the self-insert, and the passable Squirrel Girl Vs Ms. Marvel With A Slice of Life Twist. I'm not sure if I know enough fandom facts to recognise any other references on The Adventures of She-Hulk! crack, aside from the character falls in love with an apple (*cough* Drapple *cough*).
