A series with exceptional art.
The story is fine, it wraps up quickly but all of these 2015-2016 DCYou ones do because Rebirth had to happen. I loved seeing Barbara and her friendship with Dinah and how many women are in this book.
Another great thing is the choice to depict fight scenes without dialogue. There's still plenty of banter and quipping before and after, but the most important moves happen without the distraction of speech bubbles. It matches how efficient of a fighter Black Canary is & look awesome.
My dislikes come from Dinah's New 52 backstory, which I can't stand, but it's not fair to blame it on this series.
Random note: Dinah wearing a Mucus Membrane shirt while she herself is in a band is iconic.
