Being by Kevin Brooks
3.0
I feel a bit torn. I'll admit, the only reason I read this, was because my sister wanted me to reccomend her something like it.
It wasn't what I expected at all.
Brooks' Writing is intense, and sometimes a little too repetitive, but it gets better as the story progresses. At first I thought this to be a standard YA horror about non-humans and stuff. Turns out, it's actually about loneliness, emptiness, and wishing to be whole. I didn't see that coming. I liked it.
A fluent, easy read, perfectly fit for late night reading.
