I am sorry in advance if this is TMI. I liked this except for the dynamics of the physical relationship between Misery and Lowe. Those parts of the book are meant to be spicy,

but instead they just reminded me of the one time we bred our female cocker spaniel and the male got stuck "inside" for a good half hour. Apparently, this is something that can happen when dogs get excited. This similarity between Lowe's Were biology and what happened with our cocker spaniel meant that the spicy scenes in this book were instead, just ick for me. You've been warned.
