I love an intergenerational family saga, and although this only covers 2 generations, it explores both biological and found families in such a beautiful way. Everyone is flawed, but so so relatable. All of the seemingly disparate plot threads weave together at the end perfectly.
Graphic: Racism, Death of parent, and Abandonment
Moderate: Rape, Sexual assault, and Suicide attempt
