The Golden Ball and Other Stories by Agatha Christie

2.0

The two ghost stories--"The Lamp" and "The Strange Case of Sir Arthur Carmichael" I've read elsewhere. None of these stories are the mysteries normally associated with Christie. They remind me of Dahl's short stories, really--"The Landlady," "Lamb to the Slaughter," etc.--even O. Henry's "Gift of the Magi."
