I Remember You by Cathleen Davitt Bell

3.0

Ugh, I knew this would suck. Insta-love, awful insta-love. I really hate romance novels and that was all this was. I only gave it three stars for the good writing and Lucas' interesting condition. But instead of focusing more on what was behind Lucas' ability to predict the future, the author just wasted it on romance and angsty scenes. I honestly don't like Lucas and think he's abusive, poorly-developed, and just a straight up jerk. That being said I didn't struggle to finish partly because the condition interested me and you know, the foreshadowing of his death THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Sorry I was really waiting for him to die off but whatevs, it's cool. So yeah, this book kind of sucked and was full of insta-love and boring characters. I wouldn't recommend. At least this book was a gift because I would definitely have never picked up this novel in the first place.
