A fascinating and unflinching look at how the world consumes fashion. I really liked how Barber kept tying everything back to colonialism. I thought I was doing pretty good, but this gave me a lot to think about in terms of how I can improve my own shopping habits. Barber isn’t guilting anyone, instead extending grace and focusing on moving forward. She’s also really funny! Highly recommend the audiobook as she reads it herself and is an absolute delight.
