Not a comedy

The cover of this book might lead you to think that this is a real rom-com. However, it's pretty dark even from the beginning. There's a lot going on from their past relationship and there isn't a good resolution for it for quite some time. In addition, a secondary characters have some heavy things going on. There is some funny moments especially centered around drinking and going to clubs, but this is not a typical rom-com and shouldn't be considered one. The story is interesting and once you get past the fact that it isn't going to be a comedy, it's okay. it's a lot more angsty than you might expect.
