The Body: A Guide for Occupants by Bill Bryson

informative lighthearted reflective medium-paced

3.0

Interesting but nothing mindblowing. A nice systematic review of the body and its functions for someone who doesn’t know anything on the topic, with some fun historical context of various discoveries sprinkled in. My favorite (although most depressing) part was probably when the author discussed statistics for how bad healthcare in America is and compared to various other countries.
