I can't finish this book without a hint of tears. Because as I get older, and understand more, Lewis' books are deeper, richer and far more prophetic than I ever realized. He is and will always be my hero.

The degrading language of the dwarfs to the Calormenes does make me uncomfortable, but the final chapters of this book will always fill me with hope and yearning.
