It's not that the idea squicks me too much to rate this higher, it's that I tend not to appreciate works that rely purely on shock value, without bothering to explore even a single idea in any depth. I am unsure whether the author is even aware of this one's potential, but the atrocious prose and the depressing simplicity of the PoV certainly make me doubt it.
