It's been a long time since a YA novel swept me up so completely. The magic of Garber's prose, the intricate challenge of the game, and the remarkable cast of characters make for such an incredible ride. Some reviewers commented that the characters lack development, but this is not true--the characters are developed in a way that shows the nature of the game--everyone plays a role. I cannot wait to see this book turned into a movie. It is pure magic.
