Del infierno al paraiso by Erin St. Claire, Sandra Brown

3.0

I wanted to love this book, I loved the last half of it, despite the glaring typos and cringey descriptions for some of it. But the events that take place in the beginning left such an awful taste in my mouth that it made the “hero” of the book really REALLY hard to like. By the end of the book, I wanted them together so much because of the person he had become to her, but knowing that he had done something so deceptive and despicable as take advantage of her before she realized her feelings for him is very hard to reconcile with in 252 pages. And was kind of disgusting how he equated the whole experience as doing her a favor. I’m a sucker for a happily ever after, even if it is cheesy and unbelievable. So I guess if Jenny could get over it enough to forgive him, I can deal a little, but I didn’t really like the way either character was written.
