The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson

adventurous dark slow-paced

5.0

I was really unsure going into this book because the setting is older and magical elements aren't really my thing, but I was pleasantly surprised. I loved some of the descriptions of the witches, the climax delivered, I was rooting for the main character throughout. Just all in all a great read and one to keep on the shelf for rereads. Beautifully executed! I am looking forward to future publishings from this author.
