Who ever would’ve thought I’d need a spicy Peter Pan? Well, [a:K.J. Sutton|18961442|K.J. Sutton|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1637620607p2/18961442.jpg] definitely did and she did not disappoint!

In [b:Straight On 'Til Morning|58055359|Straight On 'Til Morning|K.J. Her mother has shut down and father has turned to drinking. With only herself and a few maids left, she has to care for her dying brother and the rest of her family. Peter comes along one night and changes everything. Wendy is awakened and soon after, a woman comes to her asking Wendy to kill him for her. If she does, no one will ever know the family’s circumstances and she’d take care of everything. Wendy goes with Peter to Neverland with the intention of killing him to save her family. But can she do it?

I loved that this was based on Peter Pan but totally a story of its own. There were so many characters and situations that seemed familiar but were also different. Let’s not forget the spicy actions that make you get a little hot, thrusted into your imagination from the start.

I was pulled into Wendy’s world from the start and was met with lots of themes such as growing up, letting go, strength, purpose, having courage, doing what’s best vs doing what’s right, and of course love. Ultimately this is a love story with some action, adventure, and magic!

My only problem is that it ended. I want to know what happens next in Miss Wendy Davenport’s world. I hope there is a sequel to this amazing rendition of Peter Pan!

I’d recommend this to any who’s ever wanted a slightly aged up version of Peter Pan or anyone looking for a fantasy adventure with some romance.
