Love Letters Of Great Men - Vol. 1 by Napoléon Bonaparte, George Gordon Byron, Winston Churchill

2.0

2.5 stars. I was expecting more passion and drama from the selections in this anthology. Some of these selections were lackluster.

Most of the letters didn't have salutations, so the reader had no idea who the letter was addressed to. A little bit of context would have been nice - I spent a lot of time parallel-Googling to get my bearings on the letter I was reading.

Lastly, the letters were sorted in order of writer's last name (sort of), which made the flow awkward. I think chronological order would have been much more effective.

I don't recommend this book.
