Black Canyon by Jeremy Bates

4.0

I wanted to begin with this little tale before I went into his new one, so The Black Canyon, it was.
It starts in present tense and tells you the inevitable end; so that you are wondering through the rest of the story, as he recounts camping as a young child with his parents. You wonder and wait how it all happens. Then you return to the present where you see another little twist.
