I found this one really benefitted from immersive reading due to all the names - if you've read Goblin Emperor you'll know what I'm on about.

Plot-wise I was surprised, this was very much a fantasy version of a mystery/crime novel, which was not an unwelcome surprise! I'm very intrigued to see what she does with book two - I really want to see more of Celehar
