The End of Oulipo?: An Attempt to Exhaust a Movement by Lauren Elkin, Veronica Esposito

3.0

Pretty fun look at the contemporary state of the Oulipo, although a large part of it is a diss against Oulipo writer Henri Tellier (who I don't know about). It takes a study of Perec's work and philosophy as one of the foundations of the Oulipo and applies that to more recent work. I appreciate the discussion of César Aira and other experimental authors who work in other experimental ways, and would hope to see more synthesis in these writers positions.
