Blaming the Victims: Spurious Scholarship and the Palestinian Question by Edward W. Said, Christopher Hitchens

informative

painful and depressing to read because of how resonant it still is. so much has happened geopolitically since this book’s publication and yet the plight and profile of the palestinians remains the same. it is still taught as historical fiction if taught. it is still disguised as anti-semitism when israel is criticized. yet palestinians are still as incredibly united and dedicated to liberation as they were in this book despite an increased diaspora.
