Teach Me to Forget by Erica M. Chapman

1.0

I wish she would have actually went through with it. Is that a horrible thing to say? Maybe but I just don't like how the book played out. For one, I never actually got the feeling that Ellery hated herself and was suicidal. She's always stating how unhappy and depressed she is, but it's all telling instead of showing. I never felt like her emotions were genuine or sincere. And then we have the boring ass love interest. The romance in this book basically teaches that a guy will solve your problems. A guy will make you love yourself, a guy will give you the will to live, a guy will make you happy when nothing else can, a guy is the best thing that could ever happen to someone.

Bitch please.
