Batman: Second Chances by Dave Cockrum, Chris Warner, Norm Breyfogle, Jim Starlin, Jim Aparo, Jo Duffy, Ross Andru, Max Allan Collins, Denys Cowan

4.0

I loved this book, I was really skeptical of it at first and thought that 90’s comics were not for me since the west coast avengers was super dialogue heavy and pretty boring but I didn’t really finds those issues on here, I really liked the first two stories of an officer having a breakdown and thinking he was Batman I thought it could have been handled much better because I don’t think any of it was offensive they could have done much more with it, the murder spree issue was really good and showed how Batman operates, the post crisis Jason origin was alright the school felt really out of place with the story since it dealt with Jason’s parents both being dead and him being homeless, other issues were pretty boring like the Gordon lookalike since it was part of an event that I had zero knowledge ever happened and they only include the Batman issue so you don’t get much context and you also don’t know what happens after, then the other boring issue was the museum/samurai one since I did not understand the twist at all and then the nightwing crossover one was fine, and I really liked the penguin one, it was short and straight to the point.
