The Secret of the Fortune Wookiee (Origami Yoda #3) by Tom Angleberger

3.0

Another Origami Yoda book on audio for a road trip. This series is one our whole family enjoys.

I liked this one a lot because it features Sara more prominently (yay girl power!) and because Sara isn't afraid of being herself (what adolescent girl has enough self-confidence to do a Wookiee impersonation??). Funny (especially the chapter on The Big Pink) with the continued theme of loyalty and being kind to kids who are different (because aren't we all a little different?)

This plot does hinge on boys-liking-girls and girls-liking-boys (these kids are in seventh grade, and my kids are even younger than that), but as I've said in other reviews about this series, this isn't great, lasting literature -- but it's still a fun series that a family can enjoy together.
