Out There by Tom Sullivan

4.0

This book reminded me of a short sci-fi novel I read a few years back, [b:Genesis|6171892|Genesis|Bernard Beckett|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1328955315l/6171892._SY75_.jpg|6351510] by [a:Bernard Beckett|1290482|Bernard Beckett|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1308461800p2/1290482.jpg]. Both offer a nice perspective twist to keep us on our toes.

In [b:Out There|41212784|Out There|Tom Sullivan|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1540796530l/41212784._SX50_.jpg|64406337], we are given the chance to speculate on what it would be like "out there" while comparing it to "down here". I love how our point of view, from our pale blue dot, is shown as only one of potentially many.

Diversity rules the universe. A reminder to stop and appreciate it is always a good thing.
