Touch & Go by Mira Lyn Kelly

5.0

I stumbled onto this story in an app and was skeptical it was a real book as some of the comments suggested. Not only was I surprised it was indeed an actual book and not just a pay-as-you-go wiki short, but shocked when I couldn't put it down. I was hooked from the very first chapter and stunned at the depth of emotion portrayed within. It's been a long time since I've read something that swung me wildly from laughter to tears within a few paragraphs. As someone who grew up in a similar family admidst addiction, neglect, and abuse, Touch & Go masterfully portrays the emotional torment and everyday struggle that comes with trusting in love when your whole life has taught you not to! I would read 100 books based on these characters alone and am now a firm Mira Lyn Kelly fan.
