What a great graphic novel for kids! (And adults!) I got to meet Nathan Hale with my daughter at my local library last weekend and he was incredibly fun and gave the kids a history lesson I didn't even know about!
My daughter checked this book out because she was excited but I think her 8 year old attention span was a little too young for this story. So I read it :) this book goes over our countries first iron ship naval war. The ups and downs and a cast of historical characters that made the history lesson fun and memorable. If you get a chance to see Hale at an event definitely go. It's fun for all ages!
