Sometimes the old middle school library lady comes bubbling to the surface, which explains this book. I would have been selling this one pretty hard; it has a catchy plot, spunky heroine, patient hero, and lots of action. Imagine being a little girl called upon to save the world from the evil Snow Queen, and it goes on from there. Would be an excellent gift to a young reader.
