Hans My Hedgehog: A Tale from the Brothers Grimm by John Nickle, Jacob Grimm, Kate Coombs, Wilhelm Grimm

2.0

This retelling, instead of being tragic, is just... uncomfortable. And then that last page. That last page. Why did the cute little hedgepig turn into a jerkoff lifegaurd from the 90s? Where did the illustrator even GET that idea of masculine beauty? I'm not kidding, my 4 year old nephew was horrified, this isn't just me. No one wants that. No One.
