Hey guys, so I finished the anthology Fifty First Times. It was a collection of love stories, A bunch of...first times. And because it took me so long to read this, I figured out that I don't really like reading collections of individual short stories. It just wasn't what I thought. I either got too emotionally invested in one story that felt way to short that could have been a damn book. Or I was completely uninvested in a short story and just didn't care for it at all. There was like nearly no middle ground. Thus....why I don't think Iwill be reading many other anthologies. I just didn't really groove with all the individual stories being shoved together. It felt very disorganized and I don't know. I don't think I gelled with this. The stories were pretty good and all, it just wasn't the right style for me. Maybe another anthology at another time will be, but I dunno.
