That was one thing I could honestly say about the Atlanta boudas: the men always understood the difference between no and maybe.

I wasn't sure if I really wanted to read this book. I love Kate Daniels, but novels about side characters don't often work for me. I have to say, though, that I really enjoyed this. I liked seeing Andrea come into her own, fully, as a beastkin. The way she and Rafael resolved their issues was funny, and, much like in the novella, I really like them as a couple.

This gave us another aspect of magical creatures within this world, and it'll be interesting to see if more will come of it.

The middle did drag a little for me, but other than that I had a good time.
