I can not stop myself from binging the Chestnut Springs series. They're addictive!

I really enjoyed getting to know Sloane, a cousin of the Eaton boys and her lifelong friend, Jasper, who had popped up in the other books. Both of these characters have both experienced different types of trauma, and it focuses on them overcoming their demons.

I loved their connection, understanding and the way they supported eachother. I just found Jasper's need for control a little overbearing at times and didn't always enjoy reading the steamier scenes because of it. I completely understand why he's like it and his need for control. It's just not something I enjoyed as much as previous books. There's a slight age gap in this, but not as much as Willa and Cade's.

A sports romance that includes the following tropes: unrequited love, a runaway bride and friends to lovers.
