How Do You Live? by Genzaburō Yoshino

informative inspiring reflective slow-paced

5.0

In my earlier years, history class often saw me dozing off, and my grasp of the subject, even from elementary school, was never stellar. This book, however, became a significant source of knowledge. Uncle’s narrative about Napoleon’s origin, rise to emperor, and reign during the French revolutionary era left a lasting impression. How Do You Live? has injected a newfound sense of vitality into me, filling a void I couldn’t quite identify. Now, I find myself embracing positive attitudes, and I owe much of it to Copper. Undoubtedly, this book will forever hold a place in my favorites.
