Dreams of Gods & Monsters by Laini Taylor
3.0
This book was developing so nicely. There was a few plot arcs that looked like they would really get going and we'd see a big climax to the series.
I thought we'd see a battle for Eretz. We didn't.
I thought we'd see a confrontation on Earth. We didn't.
I thought we'd see more about Eliza's family. We didn't.
I thought we'd see more about the deaths at Loramendi. We didn't.
I thought we'd understand the source of magic for the resurrections better. We didn't.
I thought we'd find out why we weren't taking teeth from Chimaera to use in resurrections (like hello free source of teeth!). We didn't.
It dissolved into a romance book. It feels like it's missing at least 100 pages off the end.
