Howl's Moving Castle
by Diana Wynne Jones
Like many, I watched the movie first.
Howls moving castle the book adds so much more depth to the characters and where the movie only skimmed ideas, it really gets behind the reason for the magic.
Howl is even more over dramatic and Sophie is more aggravated at him than ever. Not to mention, I greatly prefer the books exploration of Sophie's abilities. A very heart warming and magical tale that will appeal to all ages; it gives off the atmosphere of a fairy-tale.
