“What’s your name?' she asked, and surprised herself. But for some reason, she wanted to know.
Dean’s brother—he hadn’t been just some nameless Bad Guy Number Four. This vampire wasn’t, either. He had a name, a history, maybe even people who cared what happened to him.
'My name is none of your business,' he said, and continued to stare out the window, even though there was nothing but blurry brick out there.
'Can I call you None for short?”

WOW! A lot has happened in this book. So many freaking twists! But before I bring any of that up, let's talk about Claire. She was somewhat annoying in throughout the book with briefs moments of growing a pair and acting like an adult. In those short moments I actually started to like her more. Unfortunately, I didn't like her the whole entire time of reading this book. No, the only good part about her is her dating Shane. Who I hated in some books but I definitely felt bad for him in this book and then I loved him. Endless roller coaster ride of falling in and out of like with these two characters.

Now for some spoilers:

SpoilerOkay so I really want Bishop to die. Along with Ysandre, Dean, and maybe Jason. I'm very happy that Bishop is injured..but come on, I wanted his death. I feel like I have a very unhealthy obsession about him dying...this concerns me.

Then there's Claire, Eve, Michael, and Shane doing crazy shit throughout the book. There are three things that blew my mind:

1. That there was a death warrant with Eve's name on it. THANK GOD THAT DIDN'T ACTUALLY HAPPEN. I love you Detective Joe!
2. That Frank, Shane's dad, is now a vampire. Hot damn! I knew Bishop was evil..but damn.
3. SAM FUCKING DIED. My heart is broken. I'm so sad.

Other than that Amelie is still a bad ass. Oliver seems okay. And I'm super glad that a bunch of people got away from the town without Bishop really knowing about it or maybe he did know but just didn't care?!?

Now I will patiently wait until he dies.
