Threads of Life: A History of the World Through the Eye of a Needle by Clare Hunter

4.0

SO INTERESTING. one of my favorite nonfictions books I've read. Only missed a 5-star rating by losing my interest at the end. Well researched, perhaps not as well written. There are parts of this book that I will take forward with me for a long time and will use to inform my life and activism. Tactility is so important and Hunter makes it clear how undervalued it tends to be in our patriarchal world. I appreciated the global span of her research. Extra points for talking about my pet interest of Mary Queen of Scots!
