I really enjoyed this fractured fairy tale from the author of Beastly. She uses quite a few tales and combines them into the story. Lots of magical things going on--including my experience trying to read this book---I swore it had a spell on it!! First I was working at the library on a Sat. and had just started this book when somehow I gave it to a patron with their stack of books! I didn't notice for a while, so I had no idea who had it! It took two weeks, but the book finally came back. Unfortunately, I was out of town. When I came home and noticed it was checked in again, I hurried and reserved it. BUT when I went to get it was no where in the library--AGAIN!!! It took hours, but we figured out that another librarian had had a stack of books to go home and had inadvertently picked up Cloaked and another book that were next to her stack and taken them home too!! FINALLY the next day I had it back! I took it home and would not let it leave the house till I finished it! I swear it had a spell on it!
BTW, I liked this better than Beastly!
