The Victorian City: Everyday Life in Dickens' London by Judith Flanders

5.0

Following the life, walking path, characters, and career of Dickens, Flanders knits together a neat map of London, following its ups, downs, ins, and outs in a truly incredible bit of history. Dickens loved to walk the streets of London and his perspective, which he integrated into his novels, creates an amazing, rich history of the city. Definitely recommended!
