Behind the Curtain by Peter Abrahams

4.0

Love a good mystery and am enjoying this girl's series set in Echo Falls. Ingrid is an amusing and likeable main character, teamed with a variety of personalities. Good premise to this story, liked the misdirection and mistaken identity. But I did find it slightly longer than it needed to be, I enjoy mysteries to be quick paced, and there was one scent that didn't sit well with me (the protagonist is being pursued on foot by a potential killer and when she trips and finds a letter she stops to read it, while the killer is still hot on her heals?). Other than that it was a great book. Girls between 10-13 love reading mysteries and this is a good addition to their collection.
