Aliens on Vacation by Clete Barrett Smith

3.0

This was a fun book at times (especially with the jungle boys), and I realize that I shouldn't quibble with some of the details (after all, it's about aliens: it can't be realistic!) The narrator did a nice job with all of the voices, from the sardonic Shrub to the gentle Grandma. The caricature of the sheriff was a bit much for me, as were some of the painful conversations between Shrub and Amy. Do you really think Grandma would send the jungle boys out on a camping trip alone with David/Shrub? Like I said, it is aliens, after all.
