I've been wanting to read [a:Lois McMaster Bujold|16094|Lois McMaster Bujold|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1623465132p2/16094.jpg]'s books for some time now, and I decided to start with the Penric and Desdemona series. I am really glad I did, because now I am ready for her Vorkosigan Saga.

08/08/22: I re-read this again after reading several books in the Vorkosigan Saga, and I enjoyed it just as much this second time.
