The Echo Wife by Sarah Gailey

2.0

I feel a bit harsh giving this only 2 stars but I just couldn’t quite justify a 3 - there was something missing for me. It’s a really good story and I was interested in how it was all going to play out, but something about the delivery just felt laborious to read. I don’t know if it was too much science talk, too much reminiscing or what, but I found myself reading because I wanted to know what happened but not actually enjoying the reading process. There were also a few plot holes for me (particularly at the end but don’t want to give any spoilers). If there were half stars it would get a 2.5 because I was interested enough that I was desperate to know what happened, even if I was disappointed with the ending.
