The Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri

4.0

Very promising start to a trilogy about morally grey lesbians with terrifying powers of magic and politics. Also stands fairly well on its own. It takes some time to start up and suck you in and likewise has a fairly long epilogue-like part at the end after the main plot drive has already been resolved. Great world-building though, good characters, and leaves lots of mysteries to be explored.
