First 50 chapters were great office company and slow paced. I liked the sort of absurdity of the characters being villains but running a normal office. It felt sort of rom-com-y. Then I feel like the last part of the book shifted gears entirely to all (dark) plot and more stereotypical fantasy plot. I really wasn’t prepared for the sudden shift to a heavier plot. I liked the book, but it felt choppy in the sudden shift.
