An easy going murder mystery set in the bleak Scottish Highlands.
An old group of university friends travel North to celebrate the new year, however celebration soon turns to horror as one of the party is found murdered.
The novel is told from different character perspectives each chapter, and also travels back and forth in timeline, keeping the reader engaged with multiple points of view.
However it was relatively easy to spot from the outset what guest was to meet their doom and not a giant leap to establish their killer. A jovial, simple murder mystery to take on holiday or cosy up with on a dark evening.
