I don't know that I love the premise. I recognize that it is the point, but I don't like jumping into a story at the end. I feel like there's less space to actually get to know the characters, especially when the end is a break-up. I feel like you can't know them as individuals, you only know them within the relationship.
However, despite not loving the premise (it is intriguing and refreshing nonetheless), I did like the writing. It made me cry, but not like sobbing. Just teary eyed. Maybe a single tear fell. I liked the second prologue thing. It's clever and it gives me hope.
The characters really are loveable, and I was rooting for them the whole time. I don't know if this is one that will stick with me, but I liked it.
