Platonic: How the Science of Attachment Can Help You Make and Keep Friends
by Marisa G. Franco
This is an excellent example of science-translation with just on minor flaw, the obfuscated anecdotes are so vague and numerous that near the end they become hard to believe and distracting. I don't need the perfect story to illustrate each concept.
But for the most part I think this book is a great reference for not just how friends are made by how deep connection can be made in a world that crowds it out in favor of shallow, easily-dropped connections. One could use the take-aways provided to make better connections at work.
